Why can’t I see you?
Lord, what did I do?
My only reason living
is to follow after You.

Tell me what I’ve failed?
Josiah! What did I do?
When I was at the bottom,
(Oh God! My God!)
I only needed you.

But You weren’t there,
when I cried out
and when that cry became a shout,
I looked for you and you weren’t there
God, My God please hear my prayer:

Cure me of this blindness,
that the devil has selfishly cast
and show me, Lord, your power.
Forgive me! [of my past]


Lord, you know I've messed up,
I’ve slipped many and I’ve fell.
Lord, please save me from this torture.
RESCUE me from hell!

I’ve sat through all the sermons,
that taught me of your word.
And while I’ve listened so well,
Good God, I’ve never heard!

Give me much this strength Lord,
to hear what you must say.
And not let all life’s petty things
end up in my way.

Tell me, Lord, my Savior,
that you’ve got me in your hand.
And at the times I am sinking,
you’ll give to me dry land.

I pray that you will find me,
that you will look around....
and tell me when I think I‘m lost,
I’ve already been found.
